Result Information and Navigation
netTrekker provides you with easy ways to organize your results into lists that might be more useful for your particular purposes, and to navigate through your list in a variety of ways.
Search Request
This is the word or phrase you searched for, whether you
entered a keyword or famous person, or used the drill
down method for your search.
Refinement Menus
These menus allow you to refine your existing search by limiting results to
a particular type of content. For instance, you can limit your results to
only those sites about the Gettysburg Address which contain
lesson plans, or only those sites which contain pictures. Learn more about
Refinement Menus.
Check All Button
Choose this button if you want to mark all the results on a page to be saved when
you save a search. This checks only the results on the page you are viewing,
not all the results in a search (unless the search returns only one page of
results).
Clear All Button
Choose this button if you want to clear all the check boxes you have selected
on a page of results before you save your search. This clears only the boxes
on the page you are viewing. If you want to clear some boxes but not all,
just click on the boxes you wish to clear.
Save Search Button
Choose this button to save your search results in
your Portfolio. This will save you time when you want to return to the same
search later. Learn more about My Portfolio.
State Standards Button
Choose this button to find out which State Standards
are addressed by these search results. Learn more about using State
Standards.
Number of Results
This shows both how many results your search generated,
and which group of results are listed on the particular page of results you
are viewing.
